Carol “Pat” Molitor of Waukon, Iowa , passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Good Samaritan Center, Waukon at the age of 88. Pat was born December 23, 1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John Joseph and Ida Elizabeth (Drought) Stubbe. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy Catholic boarding school in Milwaukee. Pat married Eldon “Bud” Molitor on November 8, 1952 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple farmed in Hanover Township, rural Dorchester where they raised their seven children. Pat was an active gardener, canning and freezing produce that she grew. She also was an excellent bread maker, baking at least three times per week. She was very active in her church, taught religious education, and was active in the CEW community. Pat is survived by her children Christopher (Debi) of Gilman,  IA, Julie (Lowell) Molitor Benishek of Friendswood, TX, Jeff of Dorchester, IA, Elizabeth (Scott) Swartzendruber of Joetown, IA, Michael of Roseville, MN,  seven grandchildren Amanda (Kyle) Wiebers, Stephen Molitor and his fiancé Ali Crissman, Daniel Benishek, Thia Molitor, Zach Molitor, Ariana Molitor, and Carroll Molitor, two great-grandchildren Vyktorya and Zarian and sister-in-law Charlene Molitor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud, a daughter Jeanne, and son Steven, and her sisters Dorothy and Geraldine.
