Harold James Lloyd of Harpers Ferry, age 82 passed away October 4th, 2013 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church, Cherry Mound in Harpers Ferry, officiated by Fr. John Moser.  Burial will be at St. Pius, Cherry Mound cemetery rural Harpers Ferry.  Friends may call Monday, October 7th from 3:00PM to 7:00PM
    Pallbearers are Bill Lloyd, Mike Lloyd, Rob Lloyd, John Lloyd, Randy Lloyd and Dan Lloyd.
    Harold was born October 1st, 1931 on his family farm in rural Harpers Ferry.  Harold was baptized, confirmed and a lifelong member of St. Pius Catholic Church.  Harold worked as a farmer, hauled cattle and worked at Town & Country.  Harold was proud of his Irish heritage, loved farming and his 2 cylinder John Deere tractors and his herford beef cattle.  Harold also enjoyed monitoring and studying weather, which lead to his becoming an amateur meteorologists.
